
| 1 T | Vegetable oil |
| 2 cups | Chopped onion |
| 1T | Chef Johnny's Pie Spice |
| 1/4 teaspoon | Ground cumin |
| 1/8 teaspoon | Ground red pepper |
| 5 Cups | Gala apples, peeled, cored and diced |
| 1 Cup | Dried Cranberries |
| 1/2 Cup | Golden raisins |
| 1/2 Cup | Packed brown sugar, light |
| 1/4 Cup | Apple cider vinegar |
| 1 teaspoon | Minced and peeled fresh ginger |
| 1 T | Chef Johnny's Apple Butter Rub |
Heat a heavy-duty skillet and add the oil, onion, Pie Spice, cumin and red pepper. Sautee for about 5 minutes. Add the apple and the remaining ingredients. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Serve warm over roast pork or as a condiment. Jacki & I love this one!!
